  • The ISF Academy 1 Kong Sin Wan Road Telegraph Bay, Hong Kong Island Hong Kong SAR China (map)

REGISTRATION HAS ENDED.

As the field moves forward the role of our literacy leaders and administrators has never been more important. Join us for a pre-conference day focused specifically on how we can ignite change and deepen our understanding on what matters most for the multilingual learners in our care.

We will answer some of the big questions on our minds such as:

  • How do we support teachers in understanding and exploring current research around the Science of Reading & Writing?

  • How might we rebalance our literacy minutes? - helping teachers plan across a day, week, and unit for impact

  • How can we work smarter not harder across Chinese and English?

  • How do we lead with inspiration and build collective efficacy within our teams and school?

Throughout the day we will build knowledge around key research, discuss practical steps leaders can take with educators, see practices in action through lab sites, and spend time collaborating and building ideas together with global leaders.

Target Audience:

  • Literacy & Instructional Coaches

  • Directors of Teaching and Learning

  • Grade Level Leaders & Coordinators

  • Chinese Language Coordinators

  • Principals
